Cuvèe is a French term that means a blend of wine. However, when referring to champagne, Cuvèe can mean “the best juice.” Owners, Jody and Dollie Plaisance, hope that the name Cuvèe inspires a lively environment where the "best blend" of food, cocktails, and hospitality create memorable experiences for each guest.

Our cocktails are all original and crafted in house. Each wine is carefully hand-selected to offer great value in both flavor profiles and cost. We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere both inside and out so that anyone can come and enjoy that wonderful blend of atmosphere, friendship, and food.

I am a family physician that’s been in practice for 23 years. My passion for wine began almost from the time I arrived in Thibodaux as I was fortunate enough to befriend older colleagues who had lots of experience and knowledge of great wines from around the world. As time passed and we visited some great wine areas I wanted to know more so I began searching for a way to learn the nuances of wine tasting as well as Enology and vineyard management. During this journey I ran into an old classmate that was an owner of a vineyard, which then accelerated and increased my desire to know all I could about wine. Our friendship and his encouragement convinced me to attempt to build a unique experience for wine lovers in my community. My wife, Dollie, and I ventured out to start this project, from there Cuvée was born. Our hope is that we can provide a relaxing atmosphere for our guests to enjoy not only great southern cuisine but outstanding cocktails and hand-selected specialty wines.
